Globalize your education.
GO! Global scholarships help students with significant financial need access international learning opportunities. Global citizenship is an important component to a 21st Century education and one that should be available to all University of Washington students. We strive to make study abroad inclusive for all by increasing financial support, adding resources for students, and strengthening the diversity of the UW Global Affairs program.
What we offer:
- The GO! scholarship is funded by the Washington State Legislature. This scholarship helps students with significant financial need access international learning opportunities.
- The Fritz Undergraduate Scholarship is funded by the Chester Fritz Endowment. This scholarship provides competitive funding to students in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
We're here to help.
Global Opportunities Advisers are here to answer your questions about how to study abroad. We can help you to apply for the GO! scholarship or other forms of support that make study abroad affordable. A lot of planning is involved before studying abroad—we are here to guide you along this process. We offer support to all students that complement the resources available at the International Programs & Exchanges Office. Come visit a GO! Adviser during drop-in hours (10am-1pm on Wednesdays in 459 Schmitz) or feel free to contact one of us directly if you would like to meet at another time.
